Logo Explanation
When I started this venture, I felt the need to sign my work in a simple yet stylish manner, so I played around with some designs by incorporating my initials into one logo – F J L.
When I finally came up with something I liked, I thought to Google lens search my design to make sure that there wasn’t anyone with a similar logo…
To my surprise, the Japanese “kanji” or character for “hand” came up!!! Being a martial artist for many years, I immediately fell in love with it, as I’ve always loved the Japanese way of doing things – humble, perfectionistic with an eye for the finest detail.
The Kanji also means 手 【て】 hand, arm, forepaw, foreleg, handle, hand, worker, help, trouble, care, effort, means, way, trick, move, technique, workmanship, hand, handwriting, kind, type, sort, one’s hands, one’s possession, ability to cope, hand (of cards), direction, move (in go, shogi, etc.)
So is was definitely meant to be!!!
